Now to catch you up on what's been happening around here in the last 2 weeks! It's been a bittersweet combination of emotions, and you'll see why in a second. The girls school year ended, so that means they get to hang out with us in the home the entire day! But three of our eight girls, Hellen, Siapei, and Gladys, were cleared to return home to their families. In the span of a few days, their years of living at the Trust came to an end. Saying goodbye still doesn't feel real, and our everyday activities remind us of them. We may get new girls as the months go on but for now we are down to five! We pray they're in good situations at home now and God will take care of the rest! In other news, here's a rapid collection of pictures with captions to recap the last couple of weeks:

Lollipops during study hall! One of the last days of homework of the year
ree
We have a new SM!!! Her name is Danielle, and she'll be here until June. Henry the cat already likes her as much as we do!
ree
I didn't get a picture of Gladys and Siapei's farewell, but this was us saying goodbye to Hellen. Still sad about this one.
ree
This is Hellen! I admire her so much, when she was here she was an amazing big sister role model for the younger girls, and a phenomenal dancer. We all miss her a lot.
ree
Life hasn't gotten repetitive here, and I think it's because taking care of babies is a new adventure every time.
ree
Every Friday we've been doing memory verses, and as a combination of "end of year" and "memory verse" and "saying goodbye" we threw a party for the girls!
ree
Part of the party was a movie night, and cookies and cake that we baked for the girls!
ree
We blew up balloons for the party, and they were the main source of entertainment for everybody the whole next day.
ree
One day in the sewing tent I heard grunts like dog noises, and Cecelia told me to go outside because it was actually the sound of a baboon!
ree
Blessing (on the right) always has her tongue out like this, and it makes me laugh so much. Mark is on the left and he's trying to make her laugh.

Another week, another Kenya sunset. This view and these sunsets and the starry skies we get at night are definitely spoiling me. No lie, I've seen three shooting stars already.

To end off this post this is a video of Nancy and I. If you couldn't understand, that is how she pronounces her name and also my name. My heart melts every time! Have a great week and see you again on Wednesday!
